Our Coral Table displays are equipped with multiple stage filtration systems to ensure a clean environment that allows aquatic life to thrive in your care.
When water enters the sump it "trickles" through our trickle filtration box which has several trays so you can add the media of your choice. As the water flows down through the media, it is exposed to free-moving air, which keeps the water oxygen rich. It continues to flow through our High Density Foam Spools to achieve optimal bacteria growth by slowing down the water flow. It will then flow through optional equipment like a Skimmer, if added.
